Wow! This is a forgotten blog. Sorry. Kurlyq is now a freshman at college and too busy to post I guess. Before she went to college the family was over 200 caches, though we haven't found any recently. Our youngest got her first letterbox stamp in the Kaz Kids Catch the bug field guide! the dog is barking, gotta go.

sorry I just had to have a laugh - I was looking at the last time I updated this was and it was in August. Ocean city fun...now we are up around 160 found. and still haven't hidden any. EvilMonkey3 is over 100. and TikiBirds are almost to 100. pretty exciting. Also I just did a speech on geocaching for Eff. Comm. pretty cool. And i did really good. so hopefull we will get to do some soon.

Caching in Ocean City

So we went on vacation over the weekend.  camping in ocean city area.  ended up doing three caches. 

 

On Saturday we did..The Lady Grace which was in a boat area on the bay.  right along the dock.  Kristina found it. 

And we found The Racquet Cache which was in a park back by the racquetball court (dad says they were handball courts though.  hanging in the pines.  and I found it.  Yay!

 

On Tuesday we found Little Kahuna!  back in the woods in another park  dad found it after reading the clue. 

 

Oh and when we got home we found that we had gotten a green Jeep travel bug.  yay!  so now we have to find a cache quickly and put it in it.  Well that's all.  cyaz

Our 100th and more!!!

So yesterday we went geocaching in Dillsburg. and we finally got our 100th find! Yay!!!! The cache was Pickletown #2. We got up to #104 total. So hopefully we'll keep going and go a little more often. and hopefully it won't take more than a year to get another 100 finds. we also need to get 2 travel bugs sent out and think about hiding some of our own. noone seems to into except me in hiding some so idk. hopefully once jet-skiing season comes around we'll put one up there somewhere. anywho that's about it. oh and we also ordered some stuff from this one site but we think it crashed and so we are not sure if it went through.

also mandy and tracy are getting up there in caches found...around 70 i think. and the gardners got into it recently and are up to around 30 already. and i just found out that Aunt Di has a name too.. but she only goes with mandy so she doesn't have that many. well will hopefully update more often so cyaz

Antietam

So went geocaching down in Antietam while visiting the battlefield.  Got a couple more.  3 I think.  and I finally logged  the virtual caches from last fall.  so know I think we are up to 61.  we need to find a place to hide one soon.  and dad wants to get to 100 before Mandy and Tracy so that should be interesting.
